Thundering Waves at Sunset

I love visiting the shore in March. It's cold and windy, but the beaches in this area are empty save for a few fishermen here and there. In fact, springtime is one of my favorite times of year for taking a long stroll down a deserted beach.

After a storm such as we had last weekend, the pounding surf is a sight to behold. I think there is not a more soothing sound than the constant ebb and flow of ocean waves.

Here I've painted a sunset backdrop to the ocean to add a bit of color to a dramatic scene.
