When we see an azalea shrub in bloom, the masses of flowers dazzle the eye especially in sunlight. Up close, the blossoms are delicate as can be and delightful to paint. Here are several pink azalea blossoms. I hoped to capture the translucent quality and graceful movement of the petals in this painting and I'm happy with the results! - This painting has been sold.
