Just the other day, the snow was melted enough in the gardens so that I could see little green shoots pointing up out of the ground. It's the daffodils. They are such hardy things, nothing kills them, even the freezing cold and snow. A good thing because last night we got a nor'easter, and today the daffs are covered with 12 inches of snow. I'm glad I saw them before the storm hit. I know that spring is really on the way!
