A few days ago, I and a family member took a trip to a butterfly conservatory. It was humid, warm and tropical inside and along with hundreds of beautiful butterflies were some lovely flowers. Way up near the plexiglass roof I spotted these lovely white orchids blooming. What a treat! I decided they needed to be in a painting.The original oil painting is sold.
