One of my favorite flowers, Pee Gee Hydrangeas are gorgeous as shrubs and even more beautiful as small trees. They do take time to grow into the tree form, so you need patience. But when they are eight feet tall and overflowing with big fluffy blooms in late summer, what a sight it is!
It was almost seeming like Springtime here until some cold weather blew in last night. Amazingly, we didn't lose power, but the wind was strong. Generally a limb, branch or tree blows over onto the power lines somewhere. Still, we can now see the ground - all of it -unlike some places where they still have snow. The spring bulbs were beginning to shoot up out of the ground. But now that the cold has come back in, they are in pause mode!
