I'm so happy to see the Crocus blooming in my garden. Finally! And this little Bewick's Wren is happy that there are now some insects to find under the leaves. There are a couple of old dried oak leaves among the flowers. Darn! I thought I'd raked them all out last fall. But I included them in the painting because they contrast so nicely with the fresh new flowers of spring.

Bewick's Wren & Crocus - Watercolor Painting
I'm so happy to see the Crocus blooming in my garden. Finally! And this little Bewick's Wren is happy that there are now some insects to find under the leaves.
