My First TV Interview on Artists and Authors

Back in March, I was interviewed on CTV 14 Artists and Authors program, my first TV interview! Because it took me a while to get the DVD they gave me converted so the copyrighted music could be edited out, I've only recently got it up on YouTube with the help of friends. So now I can share it with you.

Here it is in three parts so you can watch the part that most interests you. Let me know what you think.

Part One covers how and when I began my professional career as an artist and that special spark that inspires my work.
Part Two shows samples of my paintings and portraits while I talk about my process and what is important to me while creating these artworks.
In Part Three, we discuss my newest project, The Adventures of Ferdinand and Nina children's illustrations and stories and discuss plans for the future.

A big thank you to Charlene Anderson of Purveyor of All Things Creative for persuading her video-savvy husband to do the editing! Both of them were great.

Janet,
This really was very interesting. I enjoyed the music , but did I understand you to say that you are writing 6 chapters to the chicks storyline? I'll never be able to take another holiday again! But really, it's so easy to get caught up in the storyline, and yes, both children as well as adults enjoy it equally.

Janet,
What a great interview! I'm so glad to see you're doing more with Ferdinand and Nina. Can't wait to get my copy.

Littlebert, thank you! Yes there are a few chapters, the story does go on, but then it would not be an adventure if it was short, would it? I'm so glad you enjoy it.

Elaine, I'm glad you enjoyed the interview. Thanks for watching it. I'm looking forward to publishing, but there is quite a bit of work to do yet! Stay tuned...
