Cactus can have the most beautiful flowers, but some of them bloom for only a day. Those that I have growing in my south-facing windows bloom longer (when they finally bloom), but they don't have the scorching summer heat to contend with. The flower in this painting is as pretty as a yellow rose.- This painting has been sold.
