Right on the western edge of Waikiki Beach in Honolulu is a small sparkling cove that is shallow and just right for small children or anyone who does not want to brave the surf. Each morning, one can see joggers and walkers strolling or running on the walkways along the beach.
I painted this scene one morning looking towards the cove from the lanai (balcony) of the Ilikai Marina - 11th floor.
