Ferdinand and Nina Meet a Big Fish

In the first episode of this series, Ferdinand and Nina found a toy boat and set sail on Botanikah Pond, Ferdinand took the helm and Nina peered into the water to see if she could spot some fish...

She saw tiny minnows swimming in schools and water bugs with long legs skimming and darting along the surface. Dragonflies buzzed about the little boat as it lazily sailed through a tangle of water lilies.

Suddenly, a big ripple broke the surface and up popped a large koi fish. He regarded the two chicks gravely. "What is your kind doing on the pond?" he asked. "In all the years I have been here, which is longer than anyone remembers, I have never seen the likes of you before on Botanikah Pond."
